5 Foolproof Places to Eat in SF
Of all the restaurants in SF, these are the ones I think are worth going to first.
For the last three years, I've spent 6 months working/living in San Francisco. And because a majority of my work is on my own time, it's also wherever I'd like to work. So coffee shops, restaurants, and parks take on a whole new life.
San Francisco has some incredible places to sip and dine. Here are some of my favorite:
Beloved Natural Cafe & Organic Juicery
This place epitomizes health, nature, fruit, tea, tradition. It's a small space, but even the wooden bar and cozy loft space are so warm and inviting. Everything tastes incredible. This is probably one of my favorite establishments in all the world.
Farmhouse Kitchen Thai Cuisine
This is the best Thai food I've had outside of Thailand. The food exploded with flavor, but not in an attempt to be shocking, with incredible adeptness at bringing out traditional flavors. Worth it every time.
Fior d'Italia
This is the oldest remaining Italian restaurant in the United States. After 130 years of making pasta, they're pretty dang good at it. The food was obviously immaculate, but I also love the building. For me, it felt like I were sitting in a restaurant in Europe. I sat and scribbled on a small notepad, loving every second of it.
Samovar Tea Lounge
Not only is this one of the coolest tea shops I've ever been in, their food is also completely delicious. Both their food and drink menu is all over the place with types of options. But everything has a simple elegance to it. It's modern, yet cozy.
Gracias Madre
Organic vegan Mexican food. What else do you need to know? This food is scrumptious . After living six months in California and 10 years in Florida, I've had quite a few tacos. This place is one of the best I've ever had. Their ingredients are fresh and the combinations they've concocted are perfect.
BONUS! DESSERT
Mission Pie
Pie is good. Homemade ice cream is good. Together, they are amazing. But this place is even better than that. Everything on their menu is amazing.
When you're there, give these a go, or let me know about ones you love!
